Crude steel production in August increased by 3.11% month-on-month, and social inventories rose for the second consecutive week, with Foshan inventories increasing by 4.14% week-on-week, indicating supply pressure. Spot prices remained weak and stable, with downstream demand constrained by sluggish end-user demand, and transactions mainly driven by immediate needs. The market holds a cautiously optimistic view of the traditional peak season of September and October, and spot prices may maintain a weak and volatile trend in the short term. Attention should be paid to the approval of Indonesian RKAB quotas and the realization of actual demand.
